TriCenturion is a Program Safeguard Contractor (PSC) under contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to perform selected Medicare program integrity functions. Currently, TriCenturion is working on the following contracts:
TriCenturion performs all Medicare Program Integrity functions for DME Regions A and B. These functions include medical policy development, fraud investigations, prepay and post-pay medical review of claims, and data analysis. In this contract, TriCenturion works closely with Affiliated Contractors (ACs) National Heritage Insurance Company for Region A and National Government Services for Region B. They continue to perform program management functions for the regions. To support this work TriCenturion has offices in Columbia, South Carolina, and Palm Harbor, Florida. TriCenturion began the Region A workload in this contract on May 1, 2001 and added the Region B workload on March 1, 2006.
